How much does it cost, and is there a free trial?
Starter is £19 a month for 100 analyses and Pro is £29 a month for 300. 7-day free trial on the plan you pick. Card required. Cancel any time before day 8 and you pay nothing. Dealers and teams can ask for a Custom plan. See pricing.
What counts as an analysis?
Every click on Analyse, including Re-analyse. Opening a saved result does not count, and chat never counts.
What happens if I reach my limit?
Hard cap, no overage. When you reach your monthly analyses, analysing pauses until the month renews. You are never charged extra.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time. Cancel before day 8 of the 7-day trial and you pay nothing. After that, cancelling stops the next month.
Does it bid for me?
No. CarMargin gives you a verdict and a max bid. You place every bid yourself, on Copart.
Is CarMargin affiliated with Copart?
No. CarMargin is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Copart UK Ltd or any related company.
Does it work outside the UK?
No. CarMargin is built for Copart UK. Fees, title categories, and the MOT and DVLA checks are all UK-specific. US Copart, IAA, Manheim, ADESA and BCA are not supported.
Does it keep my Copart photos?
No. Photos are read in memory and discarded when the analysis returns. The image files are never stored and stay on Copart’s own servers.
Does it scrape Copart?
CarMargin works in your browser, on the lot pages you are already looking at in your own signed-in session. It reads what you can see and structures it. It does not use a shared Copart account.
Does it read my bidding history?
No. It only reads the lot page you have open. Your bids, your account details and your Copart credentials stay between you and Copart.
What does the AI look at?
The photos, the listing fields (category, mileage, damage, notes, highlights), the DVSA MOT history and the DVLA vehicle record. All four feed one analysis.
How fresh is an analysis?
Each one shows when it was made and has a Re-analyse button. It is refreshed when you ask, when the photos or the Additional Information notes change, or when it is older than 14 days. A new bid, watcher count or time to sale does not trigger a re-run.
What happens to my chat after the auction?
The thread becomes read-only. You can re-read it, but new questions cannot be answered once the lot data has been removed, shortly after the auction ends. Your notes and threads stay until you delete your account.
Is my registration number linked to my account?
No. Registration numbers are stored on the lot record only, never against a user.
Can I use it without an account?
No. The extension needs you to sign in, and each plan starts with a free trial.
