Chat
Ask the lot anything. It answers from the photos.
Chat sits beside every lot you open. It already has the photos, the listing, the repair plan, the risks and the MOT history in front of it, and every answer points to where it came from. Chat is free and never uses your analyses.
It already knows the lot
Once a lot is analysed, the chat starts with everything the analysis used: the photos, the listing fields, the repair plan, the risk flags and the MOT and DVLA data. There is nothing to paste in and nothing to explain first.
Ask “is the frame bent?” or “why MAYBE and not BUY?” and you get an answer about this car, not cars in general.
Every answer shows its source
Answers cite the photo they looked at, the listing field they read, the MOT advisory they used or the analysis section they drew from. Click the citation and you land on the evidence.
When the photos cannot settle a question, it says so, and says what would: no engine bay photo means engine condition is a bet, not a read.
Look closer at photo 7
The chat can pull a specific photo again and study it at full size mid-conversation, using your own signed-in browser session. The photo is used for that answer and not kept.
What-if bids, worked out properly
“What if I bid £3,500?” recalculates your total cost, margin and verdict with the same max bid maths used on the main panel. Change your transport miles or drop a part from the repair plan and the answer moves with it.
A what-if never triggers a new analysis, so it costs nothing and comes back in a moment. The verdict is calculated from the analysis and your settings, so “explain this verdict” gives you the actual factors that pushed the lot one way.
Questions worth asking
- Is the rear damage repairable, and what is the worst case?
- What should I check at preview day on this one?
- Walk me through the front end repair.
- What does the MOT record say about mileage?
- Would this still work at a 20% margin?
Your settings, remembered
Your target margin, transport budget and the title types you avoid are known to the chat without restating them. If Cat S is a deal breaker for you, it will not talk you into one.
Threads outlive the auction
A thread stays with its lot. When the auction ends the analysis is removed shortly afterwards, and the thread becomes read-only: you keep the conversation, but new questions can no longer be answered against the lot.
If you re-analyse mid-thread because photos were added or the notes changed, the chat carries on with the new context and marks the point where it changed.
